Acceptable Items to Sell and Preparation:

Clothing:

--We will be accepting clothing in all children’s sizes (Girl’s 0-16 and Boy’s (0-20).  All clothing must be clean, ironed and odor free.  There must be no broken zippers, missing buttons, stains, tears, excessively worn clothing, etc.  Clothes must look next-to-new.  Presentation is everything.  If it does not look good it will not sell, and if it does not meet the requirements it will be turned away.  Please do not be offended if this happens, it is only to protect the reputation of the sale.  We want to offer great merchandise to our customers.  It is a time-waster for you to get together clothing that will not sell, a time-waster for us to go through the trouble of displaying it, and a time-waster for the buyer to look through it when they are wanting high quality items. Ask yourself, “Would I buy this for my child?”

Clothing must be hung on hangers with hanger looking as if it makes a question mark when looking at the item.  The price tag should be pinned on the left shoulder of the item.  If the item is part of a set, pin the coordinating item to the back of the shirt with backs together so that both items may easily be seen.  Believe it or not taking the time to present your item properly will save you time when checking them in, and save the buyer time when looking through items.

Pants or jeans must be free of holes, worn knees, and torn hems.  They must be pinned on to the hanger and not folded over as they tend to fall to the floor during the shopping process.

Toys:

–Any battery operated toys must be in working order, clean, scratch-free and include the batteries for the sale.  These can be purchased at a dollar store.  They must look new.

Only character stuffed animals such as Dora, Blue’s Clues, Disney will be accepted.  Others simply will not sell. They must be clean and show no wear.  Again, if batteries are needed, they must be included.

Puzzles must be wrapped in either plastic wrap or placed in a ziploc before put in the box, which then must be taped shut.  They must not be missing any pieces.  Games must also not be missing any pieces and taped shut.  All loose pieces must be gathered together and bagged in a ziploc.  Please tape your price tag on the bottom of the box with packing tape so it will not tear the box when removed and will not be lost.

Little Tykes items and the like should be clean and in working order as these are hot sellers in a sale such as this.
